How to Brew Infused Herbal Teas

Loose leaf tea sounds more involved than it really is. You need two things: something to steep it in and hot water. That’s honestly the whole setup.

The simple method:

  • Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea to an infuser or reusable tea bag. If you like your tea bolder, go up to 1 to 2 tablespoons.

  • Heat your water to just below boiling, around 200°F. If you don’t have a thermometer, watch for tiny bubbles forming at the bottom of the pot before it reaches a full boil. That’s the sweet spot.

  • Steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Longer gives you a stronger, deeper cup so feel free to let it sit for 10-15 minutes or longer.

  • Remove the infuser, pour, and you’re done.

A few things that make it better:

A little honey softens any blend beautifully, especially the ones with hibiscus or cloves. An optional splash of oat milk works well in the warmer, spiced blends like Calm & Comfort. A dash of vanilla also adds an amazing addition.

All Infused teas are caffeine free, so you can drink them morning, afternoon, or evening without thinking twice about it although some may experience an herb that uplifts them so always be aware of how a tea feels after you drink it.

Don’t have an infuser yet? Most kitchen stores carry them for just a few dollars. The Perfect Cup gift set also includes a beautiful embellished strainer if you want something that earns a place on your counter.

Clear and Renew

How to Use Infused Room, Linen and Body Sprays

Shake gently before each use. The crystal chips and essential oils settle naturally between uses, a gentle shake brings everything back together.

  • For your space: Spray 2 to 3 times into the air, toward the center of the room, or directly onto fabrics and linens. Works beautifully on pillows, bedding, upholstered furniture, curtains, and in cars. Let it settle and breathe, the scent opens up over the first minute or two.

  • For linens: A light mist on your bedding before sleep is a great way to use the sprays. It’s simple and it works.

  • As a body spray: A light spritz on your wrists, the back of your neck, or your collarbone works well for all three blends. If you’re using Happiness, avoid direct sun exposure on sprayed skin for a few hours, bergamot is a citrus oil and can increase sun sensitivity.

When to reach for each one:

Happiness in the morning, before a work session, any time the room needs more energy and life.

Love & Connection in the evening, before meaningful moments, when you want the space to feel warmer and more present. When you want to feel more connected to yourself, where you are and who you’re with.

Clear & Renew is helpful after a long day, after guests leave, after a difficult conversation, before meditation or yoga, any time a space needs to be reset with a fresh start over.

How to Use Infused Bath Soaks

Drop one sachet into a warm running bath as the tub fills. The salts will dissolve and the botanicals will release into the water as it fills, no stirring needed, no extra steps.

Soak for at least 15 to 20 minutes. That’s where the experience actually happens, in the staying, in the being, in the stillness.

Each sachet is single use. The Bath Soak Trio includes three, one for three separate baths, or share them with someone who needs a moment too.

A few things that make it better:

Spray your space with Clear & Renew or Love & Connection before you draw the bath. The whole experience shifts into deeper layers and relaxation.

Brew a cup of Calm & Comfort or Self Growth & Renewal tea to have on the edge of the tub. Give yourself permission to have the full wind down moment.

Unwind & Uplift

How to Use Infused Facial Steams

Bring a pot or kettle of water to a boil and pour it into a heat safe bowl. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of your facial steam blend directly to the water. For a stronger experience, feel free to add more. Let it steep for about a minute so the botanicals can open up fully.

Then lean over the bowl, drape a towel over your head to trap the steam, and breathe. Stay there for 5 to 10 minutes. Let your face soften. Let your breath slow down. Be in the moment.

Keep your face at a comfortable distance from the water, the steam should feel warm and enveloping, not hot or sharp. If it feels too intense, wait longer or lift the towel slightly or move back a few inches

That’s the whole thing. No equipment, no complicated prep, no extra time in your day.

A note on each blend:

  • Glow Within – chamomile and rose open slowly. Give it the full time.

  • Refresh & Reset – the lemon balm and lavender come through beautifully. Breathe slowly and let the quiet come.

  • Unwind & Uplift – the lemon verbena opens up quickly. Let the brightness come to you.

  • Breathe Deep – breathe through your nose if you can. That’s where this blend does its best work.

How to Use The A Fresh Start Cleansing Kit

There’s no single right way to use these tools. The instructions included in your kit walk you through everything clearly. Here’s a simple overview.

The flowered sage bundle: Light the tip of the sage bundle over a flame and let it catch for a moment. Blow it out gently so it smolders rather than burns with a flame. Move slowly through your space, along walls, into corners, and through doorways, letting the smoke drift. Open a window or door so the smoke has somewhere to go is an option too.

Set an intention as you move. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Something like “I’m clearing this space and welcoming something new, lighter, and for my best” is enough.

The palo santo stick: Light the end and let it catch for about 30 seconds, then blow it out. The ember will continue to smolder and release a warm, grounding smoke. Move it through your space the same way you would the sage, or simply hold it and let the scent fill the room.

Palo santo goes out quickly on its own, that’s normal. Relight as needed.

The selenite stick: No flame needed. Place it in a room where you want a sense of calm and clarity, hold it while you breathe, or set it near other objects as a quiet, stabilizing presence. It’s also great for clearing and releasing. Selenite doesn’t need to be activated, charged or cleared, just place it and let it be. It’s best to keep it out of water and in a lit space.

Important: Never leave burning sage or palo santo unattended. Always use in a well ventilated space. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Use a heat safe dish or shell to catch any ash.

How to Use Infused Tea Toppers

Tea Toppers are simple. Just add them.

Place the tea bag directly into your infuser or mug and brew as normal. The topper herbs blend with your tea and steep together.

Use them to layer a little extra support into any cup. A pinch of Relax & Reset in your evening tea. A little Clarity & Focus in your morning brew. They work with any Infused tea or any loose leaf blend you already love. They boost your blends into another layer and support.
